These days, we live in an era where anyone can communicate to anyone very quickly. However, one Web site, twitter.com, has become the latest addition to this craze, where anyone can rant or say anything they want in 140 characters or less. Today, everyone from college coaches to ESPN anchors to newspaper reporters has a page. Well, I am making a personal decision not to use Twitter for the time being. When I bought the daily race form today, I really thought the Belmont Stakes was going to be a 2 horse race-between front running Charitable Man and late charging Mine That Bird.  Now that I've handicapped the race, I see a few horses that could win the final leg of the triple crown. Who wins will depend on both the condition of the track tomorrow and the early fractions. Charitable Man should be on the lead from the time the gate opens. The only other speed horse is Miner's Escape but based on previous races, he doesn't have the natural speed to ...

On Thursday, Tony LaRussa officially sued Twitter because of the fake account that was set up in his name. LaRussa claimed that the account damaged his reputation and caused him emotional distress. First of all, shame on whoever that is for trying to run Mr. LaRussa's sparkling reputation. Terrell Owens is getting a lesson in small-town living the hard way.
