Today marks Duke basketball’s first Final Four appearance since 2004. There has been a good amount of talk recently regarding how Duke may have “saved” the Final Four from a ratings standpoint. Indeed, Duke has one of the largest fanbases nationally of any college basketball team and will thus be a big draw for CBS. However, CBS will see a true spike in the ratings from the legions of fans rooting against Duke. Honestly, why shouldn’t you be one of them? Why would anyone want to see this band of overhyped elitist brats from Durham win anything? It’s not as if ...

A Countdown of the 13 Best Sports Cities

By Alex Roberts On April - 2 - 2010
There are many ways to compare cities in America. You can speak of demographics, economics, or the cleanliness of the city. However, that is not the most important aspect of a city. That is a level of unbreakability that no current baseball player could match. Nobody is getting 511 wins (Cy Young) or throwing 110 shutouts (Walter Johnson)...ever.   The Could-Happen-In-Your-Lifetime Unbreakables Nolan ...
As if there weren't enough distractions for Tiger Woods upon his return to golf at The Masters next week. Now it turns out that the Hooters restaurant in Augusta, just down the street from Augusta National, will host a week-long golf-themed bikini contest. The contest is especially poignant given Tiger's history of an affair with a Hooters' waitress. Can he withstand the temptation of the the wings, the bikinis and the women? Probably, but that got us thinking about the other famous connections between the famous house of mediocre wings and sports. Begin Slideshow
