The Philadelphia Eagles failed to live up to enormous expectations that were placed on the franchise during the preseason a year ago, but the team hopes they can carry over the momentum of winning their last four regular-season games heading into the 2012 NFL season.
Cantor Gaming of Las Vegas has established the Eagles' regular-season win total at 10, which is actually the highest number among NFC East teams—including the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants that check in at 9.5.
Philadelphia was never able to recover from a disappointing 1-4 start in 2011, but the team actually outscored opponents by 68 points on its way to finishing with an 8-8 mark. The Eagles also finished with the same against-the-spread record, covering the number in each of their wins.
