Curtain Call: So Long, Bleacher Report, Thanks for the Memories

By Patrick Cwiklinski On December - 2 - 2009
It really has been a crazy few months. With my life as a university student and aspring sports journalist now in full effect, my time spent on Bleacher Report has become increasingly limited and I find myself in a massive struggle to find the time to shoot out new articles. That, in short, is why I have made a tough decesion to leave B/R. There was no conflict with another writer or comment that really got under my skin, it really all comes down to time management and as stands right now, as I am sad to say, Bleacher Report is at ...

No More Heroes: Whatever Happened to Just Plain Amazing?

By Patrick Cwiklinski On August - 8 - 2009

Sorry, but what else do you call a man who was diagnosed with testicular cancer only to come back and not only compete professionally again but to make all anybody that ever played any kind of sport else look inferior by winning the Tour de France seven years in a row? Andrews is an American sportscaster who works for ESPN as a sideline reporter for various sporting events. It also just so happens that Andrews is a strikingly attractive woman who was named as the sexiest sportscaster in the United States by Playboy Magazine last year. Yes, there is a list. Andrews has recently found herself as the subject of a voyeuristic video filmed by a Peeping Tom that ...

By Patrick Cwiklinski On June - 27 - 2009
About 10 months ago, I stumbled upon a website called BleacherReport.com, partly as a result of mere chance and partly because it was exactly what I was looking for. At the time, of course, I had no idea it was what I was looking for. Described as a "fan journalist" site, I had virtually no idea of what I was getting into when I decided to sign up for a membership except for the fact that I wanted to write articles about sports for people to read and discuss.
