An interesting and timely article appears on the front page of The New York Times website.

Titled, "Sports Medicine Pioneer Subject of Doping Inquiry," it tells of a "Canadian doctor who is under investigation by the F.B.I. because he is suspected of providing athletes with performance-enhancing drugs."

It wasn't all that long ago that so many of us were either blinded by or failed to see what was going on in Major League Baseball. Take a look back at some of baseball's stars prior to the early 1990's. Look at their bodies. Now compare them with many of today's baseball players.

Notice how tightly worn were the baseball uniforms prior to this same time period. Now, check out the "fashion" of today's baseball uniforms. Much more "baggy," wouldn't you say?

Now why do you suppose the change?
