The Colorado Rockies (2-3) offense responded in a big way after being shutout for the first time during the 2012 MLB season on Monday, registering a 17-8 blowout victory over the San Francisco Giants (1-4) on Wednesday night inside Coors Field.

Las Vegas oddsmakers have established the Giants as minus-122 road favorites for the series finale on Thursday afternoon between National League West rivals, while the total has jumped up to 10.

Surprisingly enough, San Francisco is averaging 5.80 runs in its first five games, scoring four-or-more runs in each contest.  Total bettors will find that the "over" has cashed in four of those five contests.

The Giants have managed to homer in all five games this year, which is surprising due to the club ranking 22nd in the majors in that category a year ago with just 121 round trippers.
