In honor of the 12 Days of Christmas, I will be highlighting a new story each day until Christmas. I will start with day one and finish with day 12 on Christmas Day.

On the first day of Christmas, ESPN gave to me....a streak that will not be broken.

Yes, it is college women's volleyball and most people do not care or even realize that is a competitive sport. But this is the most impressive streak I have seen, even more impressive than Cal Ripken and Brett Favre.

It is one thing to continue playing; it is another to continue to win.

The Penn State women's volleyball team has won 100 matches in a row. They beat number nine California in the NCAA Quarterfinals to advance to their third consecutive trip to the National Semis.

The last time Penn State lost? They were defeated by Stanford in the Yale Classic on September 15, 2007. That is almost 27 months ago!

Penn State will face the University of Hawaii, who ousted the Michigan Wolverines this past weekend. Penn State and Hawaii will square off on Thursday, December 17.

Can Penn State make it 101 consecutive wins? If they do, they will play for their third National Title in a row.
