The New York Yankees (10-7) and Texas Rangers (14-4) will close out a three-game American League series on Wednesday night at Rangers Ballpark, with the first pitch scheduled for 8:05 ET.

Las Vegas oddsmakers have established the Rangers as minus-125 home favorites, while the total stands at 10.5 but is facing downward pressure in the market.

New York was shut out for the second time during the 2012 season last night, suffering a 2-0 loss to the Rangers. The teams play the rubber game tonight. The Yankees have still managed to register a 40-19 record in the last 59 regular season meetings in this series.

Phil Hughes (1-2, 6.75 ERA) will be making his fourth start of the year, coming off a 7-6 home win over the Minnesota Twins last time out, surrendering six runs (two earned) and six hits over 5.1 frames.
