PSU Worries About Tough Match-Ups

By Allison Bail On September - 11 - 2009

It's been a slow week in the Valley.

With the start of the NFL games this week, many students at Penn State have been going out to watch their favorite teams play.

A few 3rd and 4th string players from the Nittany Lions were spotted at some sports bars in downtown State College during the Steelers and Titans game. It was cool to see their love for the game.

I guess the 1st and 2nd stringers didn't want to go out that night. I'm sure that they were going over plays and strategies for the BIG game against Syracuse on Saturday.

I had recently heard that JOE PA has been working the team day and night in order to be ready for the tough upcoming games against teams like Syracuse and Temple. The team has to be in top shape if we have ANY chance of getting a win from either of these teams.

Penn Staters are really concerned about the outcomes of these games. "It's really hard when you get matched against teams like this. You never know how you'll survive the the first quarter let alone the entire game. It's not even fair that we got placed with such difficult matches this year." -Penn State Students.
