To the 400 or so fans who weren't allowed to sit in their assigned seats during the game, please shut up already.
The world has already heard your story about how the big, bad NFL did you wrong. They were well compensated for the mix-up by the NFL. But apparently that's not enough.
There has now been a lawsuit filed against the NFL, the Dallas Cowboys and Jerry Jones. They are alleging breach of contract, fraud and deceptive sales practices.
Now if those 400 or so fans who didn't get a seat were simply refunded their money from the game, I would understand. But they were well taken care of after the confusion.
According to MercuryNews.com the 400 fans who didn't have seats "either were in the field-level club behind the Steelers bench or on standing-room platforms in each corner of Cowboys Stadium."
So not only were these fans refunded triple the face value of their tickets, but they also got to watch the game inside the stadium—at a better location!
