The great minds behind Bud Light have decided that the many major college football regions should have cans adorned with the colors of their favorite team.
“We’ve told them we don’t ever want to see a campaign like this again,” said Janet Evans, a senior attorney with the Federal Trade Commission.
“We’re concerned about the promotion because it’s targeted to college campuses where there are a large number of binge drinkers and underage persons in the audience.”
Really? So, the FTC thinks that college students are so discerning and studious in their alcohol consumption that many current non-drinkers would be enticed to black out by kickoff because the cans look cool?
If it were that easy, we should start the Buckeye Brewery.
