Entering last night's game versus Houston Christian Life Center (TX), Findlay Prep found themselves sitting at 11-0 after withstanding several charges on the road from teams hungry to knock them off their throne.  Last night had a different feeling.  It was the first game at the Pilots' home court, Henderson International School, where an opponent came in thinking they had a legitimate shot at pulling the upset.  For the most part this season, the Pilots have run laps around the competition at home, winning by an average margin of 48.5 points per game.  It was apparent that the 12-1 Houston Christian squad came ...

If the Findlay Prep (NV) basketball squad was looking ahead to their Thanksgiving weekend trip to Peoria, Illinois they kept it a well concealed secret.  Instead, they walked away with two blowout victories at the home-based Henderson International gymnasium.  On Friday, November 20 the Findlay Prep Pilots eventually shook off a pesky Princeton Country Day School 122-90, while Saturday was more of a dominant effort thumping IMG Academy 113-50. When a team finishes a season 33-0 and wins the High School Basketball National Championship, the bar can be set no higher. As a new season began on Friday, Nov. 13, there was a buzz of anticipation, nervousness, and excitement in the air at the Henderson International Gymnasium.
